Defensive Driving Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How soon
after I complete the class will I get my Certificate of
Completion?
A: Allow 7-10 business days to receive your official state
certificate of completion.
Q: What if I
need my certificate sooner?
A: Your certificate can be overnighted in 1-2 business days sent
by a courier or rushed 2-3 business days sent by USPS. Just call
281-481-1188 and ask for details.
Q: Do I have to
talk to the Court before taking the class?
A: You must "get permission" from the Court before taking the
class for a ticket dismissal. When you go to the court be sure to
take with you: Proof of Insurance and Driver's License.
Q: What should I
bring with me when I come?
A: Bring your driver's license, the name of the Court, cash or
money order as method of payment, and a black ink pen.
Q: If I take
defensive driving for the insurance discount only, may I take it
again for ticket dismissal in the same year?
A: Yes!!! If you take The Comedy Showcase Defensive Driving for
the insurance discount, you can take it again in the same year for
a ticket dismissal.
Q: Do we get any
breaks during class?
A: Yes, you get
a 40 minute lunch break and a short break on the hour every hour.
